ਕਿਸਾਨੀ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ’ਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨੇ ਯਤਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਮਯੰਕ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਚਲੇ ਢਾਬੀ ਗੁਜਰਾਂ/ਖਨੌਰੀ ਬਾਰਡਰ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਤੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਮੰਨਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਰਾਬਤਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਜੁਝਾਰੂ, ਸੁਲਝੇ ਤੇ ਸੰਜੀਦਾ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

ਹਿੰਦ ਮਹਾਸਾਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਯੋਟ ’ਚ ਚੱਕਰਵਾਤੀ ਤੂਫਾਨ ‘ਚੀਡੋ’ ਕਾਰਨ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 11 ਜਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਫਰਾਂਸ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਧਣ ਦਾ ਖਦਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਯੋਟ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉੱਥੇ ਦਾਖਲ ਨੌਂ ਜਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 246 ਹੋਰ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹਨ। ਮਾਯੋਟ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਚੱਕਰਵਾਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
