ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਹੈ?
ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਵ 14 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1699 ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਰਸਮੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੈ। ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਵੰਡ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਕੰਧ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ। ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ; ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈ-ਮਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਲਈ ਮੰਚ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 'ਖੰਡੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਹੁਲ' (ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਚਾਰ) ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ, ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਰਸਮ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਜਾਤ-ਪਾਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ 'ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ' ਵਜੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਪਛਾਣ ਹੇਠ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਅੰਸ਼: ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ
1699 ਦੀ ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਟਕੀ ਪਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਇੱਕ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਨੰਗੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਰਾਨੀਜਨਕ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ: "ਕੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਧਰਮ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੀਸ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ?"
ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰੇ
ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲੇ ਡਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਪੰਜ ਦਲੇਰ ਰੂਹਾਂ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਈਆਂ:
ਦਇਆ ਰਾਮ: ਲਾਹੌਰ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਖੱਤਰੀ।
ਧਰਮ ਰਾਏ: ਹਸਤਿਨਾਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਜੱਟ।
ਹਿੰਮਤ ਰਾਏ: ਜਗਨਨਾਥ ਪੁਰੀ ਤੋਂ।
ਮੋਹਕਮ ਚੰਦ: ਦਵਾਰਕਾ ਤੋਂ।
ਸਾਹਿਬ ਚੰਦ: ਬਿਦਰ ਤੋਂ।
ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੀਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਤਾਰਾਂ ਸਜਾਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 'ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰੇ' ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ
ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਰਬਲੋਹ ਦੇ ਬਾਟੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਤਾਸੇ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਦੋ-ਧਾਰੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ (ਖੰਡਾ) ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ 'ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ' ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਕਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਣ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ "ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰ ਚੇਲਾ"।
ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਮਝ: ਸੰਤ-ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ
ਖ਼ਾਲਸੇ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜ ਕਕਾਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ:
ਕੇਸ: ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ।
ਕੰਘਾ: ਸਫਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਿਤ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ।
ਕੜਾ: ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਦੀਵੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈ-ਸੰਜਮ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ।
ਕਛਹਿਰਾ: ਉੱਚੇ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਚਰਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਫੁਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ।
ਕਿਰਪਾਨ: ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫ਼ੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਕਰਤੱਵ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 'ਸੰਤ-ਸਿਪਾਹੀ' ਬਣਨਾ ਸੀ—ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ (ਸੰਤ) ਹੋਣ ਪਰ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤਿਆਰ (ਸਿਪਾਹੀ) ਰਹਿਣ।

ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਹੈ?
1699 ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਸਮੂਹਿਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਿਛੋਕੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਜੁੱਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਤ-ਪਾਤ ਦੇ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ, ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਸੰਤ-ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਾ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਕੌਣ ਸਨ?
ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਈ ਦਇਆ ਸਿੰਘ, ਭਾਈ ਧਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ, ਭਾਈ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਭਾਈ ਮੋਹਕਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧਤਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਜ ਕਕਾਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ?
ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਕਕਾਰ—ਕੇਸ, ਕੰਘਾ, ਕੜਾ, ਕਛਹਿਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਨ—ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਿਤ ਜੀਵਨ, ਨੈਤਿਕ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ, ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਜਾਂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫ਼ੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
1699 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ?
1699 ਦੀ ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸੇ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਾਂ ਰੂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰੋਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਦੀ ਪਰਖ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਖਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਸ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਖ਼ਾਲਸੇ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਦਲਿਆ?
ਜਾਤ-ਪਾਤ ਦੇ ਭੇਦਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ 'ਸਿੰਘ' (ਸ਼ੇਰ) ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ 'ਕੌਰ' (ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰੀ) ਦਾ ਉਪਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸਨੇ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਉਸਦੀ ਜਾਤ ਜਾਂ ਖਾਨਦਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਸਿੱਟਾ
ਖ਼ਾਲਸੇ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ; ਇਹ ਮਕਸਦ, ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਰੂਪ-ਰੇਖਾ ਸੀ। ਜਾਤ-ਪਾਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਅਮਿੱਟ ਛਾਪ ਛੱਡੀ ਹੈ।
